Glad you mentioned them. It helped me decide what to cook for dinner. Haven't had them in a long time and we love them!

We don't have very picky eaters in our family. Picky people take all the fun out of cooking. DH will eat anything, but doesn't like okra or eggplant. I also eat most anything, but since I do most of the cooking I don't have to worry about the few things I don't like. If he's missing anything, he can order it when we go out. I've noticed that our adult kids have become less picky since they have been in charge of their own food choices. We always chose our battles with them, and I never thought it worth any unhappiness at the table to try to control what another person eats. Nor would I cater to special demands. It was "If you're not doing the grocery shopping and cooking, then it's take it or leave it!"

My whole family is nuts for sugar, and it was always amazing to me to host a kid's birthday party and find that some kids would leave most of their cake and ice cream. It must be in their genes, and I sure need to borrow some of those genes.
