Default Singer Model 99...needs key

Sat. I traveled about 150 miles one way to go to an estated sales advertized on Craig's list. When I got there in the afternoon the pretty little 99 was still there and only had a price tag of $100.00. Was in beautiful condition, hand crank turned easily and bentwood lid was in great shape too. Owner gave me $20.00 off. So I was jumping up and down. Manual came with it too. But he told me there is no key to the lid. The little baby is now mine!
Does anyone know where I can buy a key? Also I don't know too much about antique machines, I would like to find out how to tell what model of 99 she is; was made in1932. I know about the site to find out what model it is and used it to find out it's a 99 but there seems to be several types of 99's and that's what I want to learn.
Oh I'm so excited. Thanks in advance for your help.
Proud Mama of 2 antiques.
