I have worn several of my quilts to tatters. I love it when I see family members wrapped up in quilts I made for them-I will make them more as they grow up or they get worn out. I just don't want them to be used to wrap furniture in on moving day! I also use my china every day and I use sterling silverware every day because it is more special to me than it will ever be to anyone else. I already know that things that are special to me aren't so special to others. I hope they will treasure some things like quilts but I know the rest will not be 'saved'. So, use them, enjoy them every day and when they are taters make some new ones.
