Hi Jan,

From your description it sounds like you have a Domestic Minnesota A with the stitch length on the pillar (2 types of Domestic A's) and missing a part. I'd give Thayer Rags an email:

I'm sorry the pictures are sideways, I don't know how to rotate them.
