on tuesday i decided i needed to clean up my area for sewing by using my scraps. I find it amazing what i see some people making out of what they call scraps, I all them pieces of fabric, LOL, my scraps are mostly less than a inch and small. so my solution is making small 4 inch squares with my small strips so far i've made 40 of them. i still have a long way to go but it feels so good to be clearing out the container around the area. I'm finding though that doing these I am geting more small peices for the crumbs I'll do later.i am also doing the 2 1/2 inch rectangles in the postage stamp method. I can only do so many of the postage stamps and then back to the small squares, between the two they keep my busy.I love how the small squares look a mess but when they get trimmed up they are so cute. so seeing the end result makes me want to hurry and do more for the surprize at the end.
