The four quilts I'm making for my staff are made from my scraps, and I still have tons more. We are talking about 1500 6.5" squares. They are made into 30" squares. They have been quilted with flannel as backing. They are being put together QAYG. I think I shouldn't have chosen QAYG. It is taking me way too long. I had the staff come over, and pick which squares they want, and in which order they want them. I was hoping to get the staff interested in quilting. It didn't work, but at least I got them interested in working as a group on colors. I am willing to start them off with all they need, including sewing machine. I am also letting them realize that things don't have to be thrown out. I find that they waste way too much. Paper that would normally get thrown out, is now being used for scrap notes, and hopefully, they will think past their noses.. so on..
