The only time ever I've had a thread that makes my machine mess up rather its embroidery or sewing is when I use the Bottom Line thread. 100% of the time if I try using it, I have a problem but not at any other time. I'll save it for my Kenmore.
I've never had any problems with Connecting thread or any other kind of thread except for BL.
