Missing Slide Plate Replacement
I have a late 70's Nelco Amica 3500 purchased for $6.50 at Goodwill. Interesting critter, made in Italy. To make a third of its stitches, the feed-dog assembly moves in addition to the needlebar.
It was missing a slide plate. DH to the rescue!! [ATTACH=CONFIG]415823[/ATTACH] He took a brass doorhandle coverplate, cut out a piece to size, and rounded the front edge. It fits perfectly. I am blessed!
