Janis, I hadn't thought about putting the pedal on the table. That might be a good idea. But since I have the HC.... I think I'll try that first.
Miriam, I like the 3x5 card idea with their name on it. I ordered the needle guards (2) on Monday. I have 2 great grand daughters.... the older one is a step-GGD and is very anxious to learn to make something. I think we'll try to make a laundry bag and sew her name on it. I've made those for all my kids and grandkids and they always take them with them for trips and overnights. It will be an easy 1st project for the older one. The younger one is only 4 but she is a big 4 in height and mind. I can't believe some of the grown-up wording she uses. She's the one I think the HC will be most suited to. She wants to do whatever big sissy does. They won't be here until the 1st of July but I need to be ready.
Pennycandy, yes I'm so excited for the neighbor to get this machine up and working. She called 3 times yesterday giving me updates. We found the manual on ismacs and she's been going over that. Such fun!!
