I might but the original problem is still exists that the flange is stuck on there. I also don't know if it would hold up to the stresses from seating with the handwheel, not to mention that it is probably bent too. It could do some damage to the machine or operator if it came flying off while being used. I will look in my stash of goodies and see if I have one (don't think so) or just hold on to it for a while.
