Not sure what you mean by "quilting function." I have assorted "quilting stitches" on my machine that will imitate a quilting stitch on any straight line quilting. Or, I can lower the feed dogs and do some free-motion quilting.

My favorite method is the Stitch-in-te-ditch quilting or sometimes I do grid quilting. Sometimes, I SID the blocks and tie in the center.

How large are the blocks and are they sashed or butted together? Why don't you post a picture - I'm sure you'll get tons of good advice.
