[QUOTE=Charlee;6093156]Just back from 3 days at the coast...our 14th is tomorrow, but since we have to work, we went a few days early. Had a great time!
Didn't see MUCH in the way of machines, and certainly nothing to write home about...almost bought an Elna Supermatic, but no cord, and he still wanted $50 for it...I'm too cheap for that! LOL!

Happy 14th, Charlee!! I have been mostly lurking, since the world around here has needed a lot of sewing projects lately. I did go to our nearest goodwill, and they had a redeye g series, in a beat up cabinet with peeling veneer and 2 of 4 knobs replaced with glass ones, for only $250. I will check back and see if anyone buys it for that, because if they do, I have some machines to sell. LOL Only a couple that I might part with for that kind of money. One of my sewing projects was unusual, in that I had made a gown for a little girl from here to wear to tea with the princesses at a popular theme park, and was seen by another little girl from New Jersey at the park, and her mom got my info and has ordered a gown. Go figure that. Then two nieces got married, needed lots of alterations and I made veils for gifts. Two quilts for various door prizes were next. And then a baby bedding set for a custom made cradle for another niece. By the way, I looked at yours Jenn; very pretty. I still have to make the bumper pad, since the cradle was under construction when the shower was given, and I did the sheets and both a regulation and a miniature wall hanger quilt for it. Yall keep up the good work on the old machines. Oh, I got to use my 201 finally. What a smooth machine. It is a keeper.
