I've stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn around O'Hare and they had shuttles on call to and from the quilt show for free. The hotel was fabulous in being good to the ladies attending the show.
The red line is close by, and the hotel will also shuttle you to the station. I don't know about the bus, but this link should help and there is an app to download.
