Hi - I am 54 years old with 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. I teach special education at the high school level and love my job. I used to sew before I had children, then was too busy. Now that they are grown, I love to sew for my granddaughter but have always wanted to make a quilt. Well, the time is now. I plan to make a quilt for each of my kids and my mom as well as some other people in my family. So, needless to say, I have to either hurry or live forever - ha.
I am very inspired by all the beautiful quilts I have seen at this site.
