It has it's place. Like a cheater fabric or a panel that we use all the time to get a quilt done in a speedier fashion. Will these ever be passed along as "heirloom" quilts? Maybe, maybe not but the reciever of a lovingly made homemade quilt will enjoy it's warmth and meaning anyway. And all those charity quilts can be made a little faster giving you time to do even more of the time-consuming projects that you enjoy.
