Being a hand quilter I attempted to reproduce the quilt but with my own touch of hand quilting. Long story short, I learned a lot about what to do and not to do in the making of this quilt. I developed carpal tunnel before I could finish it by hand and therefore ended up with a 'hybrid' of both a hand and a machine quilted quilt. They haven't seen it yet, I'll be shipping it to them next week. I hope they like the end product and the pillows I put together to go with it.
Love the blue batik.
