Pretty flowers and babies too.
Great to hear from many of you. Sounds like all are keeping busy as usual! No sewing again today...I started a book and am almost halfway through. This is why I don't read very often...I don't do anything else until the book is done.
I needed a break after all the sewing in May though before starting to quilt the airplane quilt so checked out a couple books at the library.
We did go pick up some asparagus from a widow. While there she shared many of her oil paintings...barns, animals/birds, mills, flowers, etc. She is nearly 90 yrs old and been painting for the last 40. She has beautiful flower gardens all over the yard...reminds me of the many pictures QNS shares with us. She gave DD a gourd she had dried/painted and cut an opening for a wren house.
We made unbaked cookies and cornflake bars this afternoon...everyone was wanting something sweet last night so they have choices tonight. Better figure out supper...
