Hi, I have only made cheapie quilts before in small sizes. Before I jump into a bigger more expensive project, I have questions. Should Northcott be washed before cutting? Some of you have mentioned starching. Do you mean liquid in the wash or spray? Some quilt stores will machine quilt a quilt for a price. I'm afraid of starting hand quilting a large quilt so.... what are your thoughts on stores doing it? THANKS for your help.
