John Flynn has an easy method for double wedding ring quilts.
http://flynnquilt.danemcoweb.com/sho...e+wedding+ring His instructions call for making strip sets, cutting strips and then taking tucks in the seams (or changing the seam). then use a template to cut the arc out of the strips.
Another way would be to use an ombre fabric (one that fades from dark to light colors across the fabric), and cut out with a template (that's like Cheryl Phillips method). Or just use a single fabric for the arcs.
