Default A couple of recent projects - small quilts!

My bright green/white/black kitty cat quilt was made from a kit I purchased at the Machine Quilters' Expo four years ago. I've been working on it for quite a while; it was one of the projects I kept picking up and then putting down. Finally I told myself to get the darned binding on! Right now it's draped over an antique table (my grandmother's) in my living room. Oh, and it has a pieced back that includes an extra square from the pattern (first time I've tried that). The whole quilt is about 36" square.

The second project is a small quilt made from a "Clifford the Big Red Dog" panel that I won at a penny social a couple of years ago. Because the squares on the panel were wonky, it gave me a chance to practice my straight line quilting (using the serpentine stitch). If the stitches went a little off, not a problem because they matched the crooked squares in the print! This quilt will probably get sent to a charity (either QFK or Project Linus).
