Your quilt top looks a lot like Wilderness Log Cabin, in Judy Martin's The Creative Pattern Book. This link shows one version of the pattern (not the larger one you made) and the border. The big difference between your version and Judy's pattern is that hers has red stars randomly sprinkled in the light portions of the log cabin, but you might have decided that you didn't want to do them.
