Thank you for all your kind words. The pattern was just called Modern Christmas Quilt. It was a free pattern sheet. I've tried to find some information for you but can't find anything on the net or on Spotlight's website.

It isn't hard to do.You need 3 red/white & 3 white/red fabrics. I had 1 meter of each. Cut3 1/2" strips from each and make up four patches. The first sashing around the 4 patch is 1 1/2" wide. Cross cut 2 x 6 1/2" & 2 x 8 1/2" strips. Stitch on the 6 1/2" sash first then the 8 1/2". Once you have made the required number of squares then sash with white 2" strips. The original pattern had 12 blocks but I made 30 as I wanted a larger quilt.
I kept the red and white stripe aside as I wanted to try the technique of making bias binding from a fat quarter. I love the way it turned out but I did make one mistake. I reversed the second fat quarter so some binding slants one way and the rest the opposite way. I see that as a learning curve.
If anyone wants to ask questions or needs help just PM me. I may not answer immediately but will do so as soon as I can.
