This is the first time I have seen a tutorial where she tells us to press our seams open. Is this the norm now? I can believe that it would make it easier to quilt but I thought "the rule" was to press to the dark always!! no matter what. Is this new to you folks too? or just me? She (Sharon Ledbetter) did make a beautiful block but was very particular about how she made it. Great instructions but I don't know that I would take that much care.
