Default My Professional Tote

Misty's Mom asked me to post photos of my tote, and share what I had changed
I had not taken any (yes, I know we should), so I took a few with my cell phone today, and I hope they show what I did.

1. I added short handles - I think about 12 inches long between the insert "lining" for the zipper. I did not want to be banging people on the plane in the head as we walked down the aisles. And sometimes it is more convenient to have short handles.
2. I have made 2 of the actual Bow Tucks, and a Modified Bow Tuck for my Step-GS to carry his transformers in. And I do not think they have enough pockets.
So on this one, on the inside zipper pocket, I added to both sides of it.
A. I added a pocket that runs the full width of the tote, and is about 2 inches shorter than the zipper pocket on one OUTside, *think computer pocket, although it is not padded.
B. On the opposite outside, I added a pocket that is about 1/2 of the height, and sewed it to make 3 pockets on that side. I also appliquéd some of the animals on those pockets which I also love, but a friend (my award winning quilt police friend) said - Well, no one can see them in there. Boo-hoo to her too!
** I love what I did to make more pockets, here, but the downside is that it was impossible to machine sew the bottoms together. It is pretty challenging to hand sew them together also.
Then on the side that has the velcro pocket, I "adjusted the pockets" One of them is the full size. The center one has the flap, and the third one has a section for pen/pencils, and is sewn shorter so my phone did not get lost in the pocket.
On the other outside, I sewed the original pattern "tall" pockets, and on top of those, I added an approximately 6"x12" section. The bottom is even with the bottom of the Pattern pocket with the center sewn along the same line as the original pocket. I also sewed seams along the outside of the original creating smaller pockets for ??? If I do another one, I will make this pocket as wide as I can..<o></o>
