QUESTION: I want to get these quilts done ASAP as I will be starting grad school in 80 days. Is it WRONG to stitch in the ditch for the backside binding? Or SHOULD it be done by hand? Thoughts would be appreciated. I am not sure how long it would take a novice (me-first real quilts) to hand stitch the back binding along with two sleeves on each quilt (king size).
I just completed tonight the sewing of the binding on the front.
