Have you tried contacting the WWII Pacific museum in Fredericksburg, TX? They might be interested. It's a fascinating museum. Its next door to the Nimitz museum. I took my kids there a couple of months ago and we spent hours and hours going through it and we didn't see it all. My grandfather did photo reconnaisance in the Phillipines during the second wave of operations to regain control there and my husband's grandfather was shot down over the Phillipines in the first wave of combat, spending 42 months as a POW, marched in the Bataan Death March, survived being on one of the U Boats that was sunk, and finally freed in China after the surrender. I've been told (though cannot verify) that my ex-grandfather in law was aboard the USS Missouri during the signing of the surrender by Japan.

Very cool quilts. I hope I have the chance to see them in person. Are you still in search of any other patches?
