Here is the link for a great tutortial on the flange binding. It is easy to do and gives a nice look to the quilt. I use it on almost all my quilts now. I was hand sewing the bindings down and with arthritis is was making binding quilts very difficult for me. This is simple and all done by machine and in my opinion very nice looking.
