Over here in UK they are trying to stop personel checks. My own account has had no check book for about 6 years it was one of the first to stop them . Our post office has also changed it s method as well. Banks also do not write checks for you as they once did. If this is the case it is the charge to present to bank including the drive getting to an open bank to cash it in .
