Cut the solid plastic slats the size of bag top. I cut the ends curved to get rid of sharp corners. Sew a band wide enough to slide the slats into on each side of top of bag. Sew one side of bag and band. Insert the slats with curved sides facing each other and stitch the other side of the band. Bag finished. My finished bag is 10 inches wide and 7 inches deep. No seam at the bottom.
