During my 'working' years I mostly knitted, but was always trying other creative pursuits, oil, painting, pottery, tatting, some crochet (but I like knitting better), did a lot of hardanger, (Norwegian embroidery.) When I retired I began quilting and can't seem to stop. I love putting things together and taking the challenge of seeing what I can do. I think if I had been a man I would have been a carpenter. One thing I haven't done, but would still like to, is welding.
