Just finished a denim rag quilt. Didn't think about doing it with cathedral windows. I caused myself a lot of extra work, but much less bother in the washing machine. I fringed all of the edges, rather than clipping them. They turned out very soft with no little pieces of thread. Don't think I'll do another one for quite some time.
