2nd sister and BIL left this am. Ran to town for chiro appt. Feeling a little sore yet--hopefully my cousin Ilean will head home as well
. Finally stopped at LQS Bought the last kit that had the Iowa colored fabric. She's sold out of bolt fabric but did get a couple yards of the gray/black and white.
Sis and I cut some kale from the garden--first time I've planted it. SonIL uses it in his stampot,
Anael. I know it freezes well-so froze a big ziplock of it. Sis sauteed some in butter and garlic and another batch steamed with garlic. Then added some cooked juliene slices of beef to the sauteed version and cubed, cooked chicken to the second. Very tasty. Any one else use kale?
