My daughter (azchrisg) and I took some classes last week at Celebrate! Quilts quilt camp here in Flagstaff. One of the classes we took was a Mariner's Compass using Quiltsmart foundation piecing that was taught by Carmen Geddes. The class was a lot of fun and the result were fantastic! These "compasses" measure about 45" in diameter; very dramatic looking!
