Now I know why I haven't joined a guild. To me quilting or any other hobby for that matter is for the enjoyment of doing it. Yes I think if you're interested in it enough you would want to better your skills at it but to have someone tell you "your" style is wrong, well sorry that's just pure and simple wrong!!! You go girl and walk down your own path. The only one you have to please is yourself. I make up stuff in my head all the time and try to put it to fabric, sometimes it works....sometimes not, but I tell myself if it's a not.
