I own a Bernina Artista 185 for sewing, piecing etc. a Bernina 220 for the same but much lighter and portable. I also own a Bernina serger which I use for part of the construction on my Linus quilts, a Singer Featherweight that is the same model that I learned to sew on as a child. I got it at a yard sale for $20 in mint condition. And finally two stand alone embroidery machines, a Bernina Deco 650 and a Brother PE780D. Both embroidery machines use the same format PES. My 185 is also capable of embroidery but I didn't get the module for that on purpose. I can be running embroidery projects on both embroidery machines while I am using the sewing machine or machines. I am an expert at multi tasking. I will admit that have a small fortune tied up in embroidery software. I will also admit that some of it has never been used.
