This is so true. Some have many machines and use them all; some do all their work with 1 machine. It's possible to quilt without a machine. Some people still like to hand piece and quilt. I personally have an antique Singer 127 that works great but I never use. I also have an older Singer serger that I only use for clothes, a Brother SQ9000 for quick little jobs, a Brother PE-770 for embroidery, a Singer 15-88 that still lives at Mom's house, and a Pfaff Quilt Expression. The Pfaff gets most of the work because it is the only one set into a table and because it has the largest harp for machine quilting. I love all my machines, and I'm glad to have them.
