I didn't get a 'bigger' machine until 2010. Before that I had a small-throated, simple Pfaff.
But, since I joined this forum, wow..
Now I have two Pfaffs which are currently loaned out to 2 ladies--one lady is buying one of them, but the other I'm keeping as a teaching machine/loaner.
Plus,
1 -Janome Horizon (main one I use for sewing, quilting)
1 - Janome 12000 (got it second hand in January--mainly use it for embroidery big things)
1 - Janome 350E (got it second hand, use it for embroidery smaller things)
These three are set up in my sewing room--sometimes all three are going at once.
But I got a 1600P Janome for use on a frame my DH is supposed to make me. It is in the basement--waiting for that frame. I have used it some, just trying to get used to it.
It's mostly the influence of this board that "made me" buy all these machines.
Actually, I'm really enjoying all three that are in my sewing room. Someday I'd love to have a treadle, and learn to use it. I just don't know where I'd put it.
