About a month ago, I purchased a Hexagon Paper Punch made by Fiskars....actually, Bonnie Hunter recommended it through Joann's! I love it! It makes hexie cutting a breeze. I bought a stack of index cards from Walmarts...I get 6 cut hexies from a card. Then I pin it to a small piece of roughly cut fabric and just do a tacking stitch (3 stitches) and then I go around the hexie---seems like the same amount of time as using the glue stick! Needless to say, I'm stitching up a lot of neutral beige/tans to encircle green and pink middles! Love to do it in the car while waiting for my daughter!
