I've been to the Timberline Lodge as well. It's a beautiful place, with beautiful surroundings. I was unaware its theatrical renowned, or I have forgotten, but was more into the historical part of it. In any event, it is a beautiful lodge, built as you would have a ski-type lodge in your mind.
