We Have a Convoy!
My friend asked me to finish a quilt she was gifting to a family friend who is a long distance trucker. When she dropped it off she said "just some meandering will be okay". Once I got it on my frame I knew "just some meandering" was not enough. Some quilts speak to me an this simple one was one of those being as I knew who the recipient was. And as is my wont I included 3 cartoons: The truck that has a MISSION, the truck that just wants to get HOME and of course, the truck who is his MISTRESS!!
I know my friends have a sense of humour and this will be with the gentleman for a long time.
