I would love to keep both machines and I may. Space is becoming a factor. I have four modern machines including an embroidery machine and a midarm quilting machine on a frame. I also have a FW, two 301s (one is being painted red), a 99K and 9W treadle.
My husband is already talking about repairing the treadle and I think I could make the 201 table look good with that gel stain that is now popular. I am not fond of the "blonde" look. If not, I have another table that came - without a sewing machine - when I bought a used Janome for my DIL. The 201 would fit in it, I think. It is listed on ISMAC as one of the tables a 201 was available in.
