I agree. M.I.Late is giving good advice. The positive side of being limited to fabric choices is that you are doing the best you can to create with what you have. No need to do the searching game for the perfect fabrics. This is a great challenge. The fact that this quilt is for husband and wife the quilt can lean towards a "man quilt."
