Just finished this runner. It is larger than some I have made. About 21 X 42. I used a pattern but made it longer so I could alternate the blocks. Stitched in the ditch. May get brave and try some quilting patterns on another one. My second attempt at machine quilting. It gets easier each time one does it. Found the blocks at the thrift store and cut them to size and found the rest in my stash except for the final border and backing.
