Have you made a waterproof bag?
My DH wants me to make a waterproof bag for our motorcycle sidecar. I have been googling for patterns/fabric and saw a couple of interesting blogs. One mentioned "Pul" used for making diaper coverups.
I had thought about using a vynyl tablecloth.
DH asked about the seams and told him I did not know how to make the seams waterproof. Hopefully our bag would not be caught in a downpour.
I'm thinking a bag with a flap on top in addition to a zipper. Also, wondering about a strap with a snap or hook/clasp to attach to a small bar/handle inside the side car so it would not slide around on the floor.
He wants it big enough for our camera and gps and other small items.
If you have made something like this, would you share some tips/ideas with me.
