Also like the Swavorski crystals added, nice effect. I've used them in a wall hanging, but not in a piece that will be washed. Are you concerned about them staying in place?
I have never used the crystals before. I didn't suppose that I would like that, but saw it at the Quilt Festival in Houston and thought, hmmmmm, I kind of like that look in certain circumstances. This quilt will probably be gently used and won't have to be washed frequently. So we will see. I know that you can't pull them off very easily so not sure how water will affect them. I certainly wouldn't use on a quilt that would be frequently laundered or be used by a child. It is a time-consuming process so wouldn't want to be replacing them every whipstitch.
