In Colorado we have "Denver Fabrics" with bolts and rolls of fabrics. The sale area has rolls of fabrics for $1 per yard, and the shelving of sale fabrics changes every 3 months when the employees pull fabrics with date codes saying the fabrics have been there for too many years and it's time to move them out the front door. I have rolls and rolls of fabrics leaning against the corner walls in my studio. Each roll has a future project. Many of my quilt backings come from these decorator fabrics, including corderoy for some incredibly cuddly, heavy, warm winter scrappy quilts. I bought 40 yards of the corderoy for $1 per yard, and it is almost totally used up and depleted. I put it on the backs of several quilts.
