Smile Tummy Time Quilts

My d-I-l named these. My new (and first ever) granddaughter loves them. First are two "Chunk Block" quilts--made from scraps. They will serve as an I Spy. I made the first one with 9" blocks, and the second with 12" blocks. There are close ups in-between. The backs of the first two will be a neat fabric with roads and stores and farms on it. Jenny can pick one for Jessie to have at home if she wishes. My girls always get first picks before something goes to a craft show. The last one is a D4P in a color scheme I love--I call it "black and white splash." I've made two more of these. I still need to layer and quilt them all. Yuck. Then--for your viewing pleasure are photos of the quilts in action. Jessie has a Chunk quilt at my house--which she's laying on as she's sleeping (I was baby sitting while her mom dashed to the store to shop for her daddy's b-day.) The other is of Jessie on her D4P at home. Jenny (her mama) uses it for all her tummy time because she loves looking at the contrasts. She also hangs it on her crib or playpen for her to look at. I've made five new Talk-About Books too--I'll post them soon. Oh--Jessie loves those too!
