I agree that I would call my insurance company. I have heard that vinegar & water will cut the smell of a skunk. So she may want to mix equal parts & spray the furniture. When my Uncle was a young boy he was sprayed by a skunk, back then they just burned the clothes. Let us know how things work out for her.
