Interesting technique!
on the right side you'll see block names - those are the one's he's 'played around' with.
I recall the churn dash being one he disappeared.
His Bowties are not cut as a D4P etc. are ... rather the colour placement and positioning of the blocks together create different effects to take the eye away from the Bowtie block.
