I frequently do (redwork) while traveling. My 8 year old grandaughter has shown an interest so I traced several simple shapes on some scrap muslin and she completed them in a short period of time. I have since provided more simple forms for her to do and when we are together she "bugs" me to sew with her. I plan on having her over so we can sew them into a quilt sometime this summer. I had better get busy ad time is running out !!!!'
